Graph | Scientific Collaboration Map
Inspired by the Facebook friends map, research analyst Olivier Beauchnesne created the scientific collaboration map. The map shows the reserach connections between different universities using an extensive academic citation database frm 2005 to 2009.
The result shows a very large amount of collaboration in Europe and in the US, but little elsewhere. This is probably due to the dataset.
