Nicholas Felton has released his annual Feltron report. This report covers both 2010 and 2011, as the 2010 Feltron report was a chronicle of the life of Nicholas’ father. As usual the report is expertly crafted and presented. The focus is specifically on the locations he visited over the two year period.
Now that the first weekend of action is complete for the Rugby World Cup, I thought that I would update my two score sheets and repost, one a calendar, the other an atlas. Click on the images below to get full resolution PDFs.
A great looking annual report in black and white by Foundry Communications. I really love the graphs in here, and am impressed how well they are done without colour.

Great looking annual report, with a lovely green eco-friendly feel to it. I like the subtle wavy lines in the design which give both the impression of a finger print, and also of stamps and travel.

It is time again for the excellent Feltron Report, now up to it’s sixth edition. For those that do not know, the annual Feltron Report is a brilliant collection of infographics by Nicholas Felton usually about what he got up to during the year.
The 2010 report is slightly different, in that it is about his Father’s life, and all the resources he could find to report on his life.
As usual the graphics are top notch, and the typography is excellent.
Wirify is a great resource for anyone who is interested in the underlying structure and grids of websites. You can use Wirify to create a wire diagram of any webpage – instantly showing you the grid design.
Creative Review’s Type Annual is out now. I love the cover lettering, drawn by Jonathan Puckey. As usual, the interior is nicely laid out over strict grids.
Nice posters for the Oslo Bokfestival. Since the wording is all in Norwegian, it makes it easy to view the words as shapes and admire some of the interesting layouts. As a branding exercise, I think that the colour palette should have been reduced, there are too many different tones used for each of these to work cohesively together. I like the combination of fonts, the black weights stand out nicely and contrast well.
