Layout | How Britain has changed since 1997

Very interesting look at the changes Britain made during the 13 years under New Labour. You can use the stats either for or against, but I think that they show on the whole that the UK is in a better place than they were in 1997.

The report is well laid out in a nice grid pattern with simple graphs and diagrams.

Branding | 17th Biennale of Sydney

Comprehensive branding for the 17th Sydney Biennale, which I am attending next weekend.

The palette with a dusky pink with black and white. A variety of matched deco typefaces and illustrations overlays with a mix of shading patterns and abstract shapes.

It is all arranged on a blocky grid pattern.

Layout | Massimo Vignelli’s Unigrid System

The National Park Service has been using a simple grid designed by Massimo Vignelli for the past 50 years. Goes to show that a good grid can go a long way.
