Great logo for the Musicians’ Union by Matt Judge. I actually prefer the initial sketch which had a large overshoot for the curved sections, but I think the finished version still works very well.
The brand guidelines look great as well, nicely laid out with prepared grids alongside the usual fonts and colours.
Neat looking newsletter for The Famer’s Cart by Ten and a half. The neutral colour palette and victorian illustrations create a rustic country old world mood. The clean slab serif carries on with a nice honest feel, though I think this should have been paired with a neutral sans-serif for the body text. A little more white space would not have gone a miss as well.
Great looking maps by Zara Picken for Lonely Planet. I like the limited palette and retro colours.
Great looking infographic magazine page layouts by Novichkov. I particularly like the first one on oil spills which does very well with the limited colour palette, and gives a great sense of oil dripping down the page.
Super simple suite of diary product packaging from bottles, tetrapak and pottles. The clean colour palette and typography gives a sense of purity which works well for diary products.
I would say that there needs to be a bit more distinction between the different diary products, as the sour cream looks the same as yoghurt except for the colour – which at first glance could simply be a different flavour. The easiest differentiation would be to use a different product shape.

When I first saw this cutesy logo I certainly did not think of accounting. It will certainly stand out as unique in it’s field.
The colourful zebra icon is rendered very well. It is clever using a zebra, which is traditionally black and white and colouring it to make a point that accountancy graphs do not have to be boring black and white affairs. Also, the design showing the stripes in concentric circles gives the feel that this may be from a chart, furthering the point.
Great looking page spreads by Francesco Franchi. The layouts follow very simple and effective grids and utilise limited colour palettes to great effect.

The very popular charity poster for the Football World Cup has been updated post tournament with all the scores. There are 16 posters all up including ones that highlight the quarterfinalists and semifinalists.
