Personal | Mini worlds

I have created a few 360 panoramic mini worlds from some of my world wide travels. I never realised how easy these are to create in Photoshop. To create:

  • grab a panoramic that is at least twice as long as tall and preferrably 360 degrees (although none of mine are from full 360’s). It is also best to have something plain and flat in the foreground such as water or desert.
  • match up the two ends
  • Rotate your canvas 180 degrees
  • Change the image proportions to square
  • Click Filter>Distort>Polar Coordinates
  • Select Rectangular to Polar and click OK
  • Smudge the corners, and use the clone brush to tidy up the seam
  • Rotate to the best angle and crop

Budapest 360 by you.
