Branding | New Prevention Technologies
Great concept behind the identity and branding for New Prevention Technologies, who are dedicated to fighting HIV. The identity was designed by Cooee and is designed to show different protection methods.
The icons can change easily while maintaining the identity. Each icon also works as a schematic diagram, demonstrating the technology.
Each prevention technology is graphically depicted using a different stroke such as vertical lines, horizontal lines, angeled lines and dots. These strokes are then aligned in a circle to demonstrate that they are protecting the centre, and overlayed to show how they can work together.
This method allows easy updating when new technologies arrive, as they will simply require a new stroke shape and can then be applied.
The wordmark typography is Generika Mono, a simple mono-spaced rounded geometric sans-serif, which works well with the geometric icon. This is complemented in the brochure by a Typ1451, rounded humanist sans-serif.
