Branding | Comedy Central
Very intelligent new branding for Comedy Central. I hated the old goofy logo. The new one is very corporate looking at first, but very clever. I like how they have taken their own version of the copyright logo, with instead of saying this is copymarked, this is funny marked.
The rotated Central part of the wordmark serves to keep the logo from being too corporate, and to explain why the double C logo has the large C also rotated.
The new mark will be very easy and fun for Comedy Central to use on a wide range of media, and to expand into a full extended brand.
