Layout | Siemens Ventilation System advertisements

A nice advertising series for Siemens extractor fans by Ogilvy. The photoshopped flat kitchens give a sense of cooking outdoors where all the steam and smells from cooking can magically waft away.

Layout | Remembrance Day Advertisement

Very clever advertisement for Remembrance day, which was on 11/11/11.

Layout | Become someone else book adverts

Great series of advertisements for the Mint Vinetu Bookstore. I like the scrawled type, which works better than a generic book type face would have as it gives the emotion to the statement that matches the image.

I also love the actual book covers used, which are very effective.

Layout | WMF Knives advertisements

Great advertisements for WMF Knives, created by KNSK. The script coming off the fruit and vegetables has been executed brilliantly.

Layout | The force of typography

Great advertisements for the H-57 Creative Station’s fictional Typography Design Institution, playing on the Star War’s “may the force be with you“, to emphasize the importance of typography. The representations of a storm trooper, Darth Vader and Yoda using glyphs are very well executed. I also like the layout of the advert with the key in the bottom left and shield in the bottom right. The style is followed through in H-57’s website. Click on the images to view larger.
